(As a follow up to our October post - HERE...)
In preparation for summer 2021, we are inviting homeowners to join a newly formed committee as a way to participate in our HOA pool planning process.
So, the pool will be open?
That's what needs to be determined. As a committee member, you will be a part of the review and discussion of forecasted CDC/State guidelines, help identify and plan specifics necessary to meet all requirements, review pool costs against pool budget, and be involved in deciding whether to select a new pool management company or maintaining the same one. The committee will consider all factors and make a decision on how to proceed.
What kind of time commitment does this involve if I join?
This is a new committee, therefore, we're flexible and plan on working together to accommodate members' schedules. At minimum, there will be an initial meeting to kick things off and, from there, utilize emails and shared documents. We are open to ideas.
When will the first meeting be?
We would like to initiate the planning process sooner than later, preferably late December/early January. We understand that the holidays is a busy time - again, we will work to accommodate schedules. For now, we just need to hear that you can participate!
Why plan so early?
Obtaining vender quotes, negotiating a contract, and review pricing of mandated pool safety/health amenities can take time. There are still many unforeseeable factors and having a plan in place will allow us to move quickly, whether it is to open the pool or not.
How do I join?
If interested, please email your name/address to: YVMasterAssociation@gmail.com with the subject line: Pool Committee. You can also send us a message via the Comments form on the website's home page.
What if I have questions?
Feel free to also send a comment via the website or email any questions you have.
We hope to hear from you!
