Yorkshire Village (Zone 1) - Special Brush Collection for week of 7/19/21

Due to the severe thunderstorm which occurred Saturday evening, Lawrence Township will temporarily increase yard waste collection efforts in Zone 1 and Zone 3.

Residents in Zone 1 (Yorkshire Village) and Zone 3 will be permitted to place yard waste at the curb resulting from the storm immediately.

For the purposes of this special storm collection, the length of the yard waste pile will be increased to 25 feet for your next collection only. All yard waste placed at the curb must meet the size limitations of the yard waste requirements outlined on ordinance 2307-18.

• Storm Collection length 25’ (One 25’ Pile)

• Pile Height 3’

• Width from the Curb 4’

• Limbs shall be cut in 3’ lengths

• Tree Trunks and Limbs Shall Not Exceed 6’ in Diameter

• NO Tree Stumps or Dirt are Permitted in the Roadway

• Pile Shall be Placed in front of Homeowners Property, No Community Pile

This exemption will expire once your street has been collected during the week of July 19, 2021. Please do not place additional yard waste out at the curb after your street has been collected.

Residents can dispose of additional yard waste at the Ecological Facility located at 3701 Princeton Pike, Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
