Hello, Yorkshire Village!
Management is now conducting our regular site inspections for the spring / summer season which include power washing and the overall upkeep of your landscaping. Today’s inspection reflected that virtually ½ of the homes here at Yorkshire Village are in desperate need of power washing of the siding. Before we start issuing violations, please come outside and conduct a thorough inspection of your own property. If you need assistance with power washing company referrals we use several different companies, all of which are very good and have all started their scheduling for the season.
In addition to power washing, we are looking at the overall exterior upkeep of the houses for very regular landscape maintenance (cutting of grass, weeding of beds, weed applications etc), as well as cleanliness (not storing items on the exterior of the house).
During inspections today we noted that there are quite a few mailboxes that are in need of maintenance and is some cases full replacement. Mailboxes should be straight on their posts, the boxes kept clean and if they’re falling apart, you’ll be expected to replace them.
And the ongoing matter of the sidewalks that are lifting. Thank you to all the homeowners that have already replaced their areas, your time and attention in this is truly appreciated. For the homeowners that have submitted the required application to the township to be added to the list for this summer via the townships vendor, we have your information from the township and they will confirm back to me when they’ll be moving forward. **Reminder, that for this year they will be doing the homeowners that were on the 2021 list as well as the 2022 list. If you are not on the township list and have not repaired your section of sidewalk yet, you will continue to be fined until such time as the sections are safeguarded.
Please make sure that your property is within HOA compliance to avoid any violations and fines being issued. A violation means that you are not in good standing with the Association.
