Join the HOA Pool Committee - Planning for Summer 2024

As discussed during our 10/26 open session meeting, we are beginning preparations for summer 2024. We would like to invite interested homeowners to join the HOA pool committee as a way to participate in our HOA pool planning process.

What kind of planning?

As a committee member, you will be a part of the review and discussion of various aspects of opening the HOA pool. That includes, along with the Board members, reviewing pool managment company bids, participating in pool company interviews, and providing recommendations on the final vendor selection.

What kind of commitment does this involve if I join?

At minimum, there may be an initial meeting to kick things off, but we will mainly communicate and work through a few emails and shared documents; a couple of hours may be needed if participating in vendor interviews.

When will we start?

We would like to initiate the planning process sooner than later, however, we understand that the upcoming holiday season is a busy time. For now, we just need to hear that you can participate.

Why plan so early?

Obtaining vender quotes, negotiating a contract, reviewing pricing of mandated pool safety/health amenities, and addressing other considerations can take time. Overall, there are still many unforeseeable factors and having a plan in place will allow us to move quickly to address any issues.
