Join the HOA Pool Committee - Planning for Summer 2023

As discussed during our 10/27 open session meeting, we are beginning preparations for summer 2023. We would like to invite interested homeowners to join the HOA pool committee as a way to participate in our HOA pool planning process.

What kind of planning?

As a committee member, you will be a part of the review and discussion of various aspects of opening the HOA pool. That includes reviewing pool managment company bids along with the Board members and providing recommendations on whether to select a new vendor or maintaining the same one.

What kind of commitment does this involve if I join?

At minimum, there may be an initial meeting to kick things off , but we will mainly communicate and work through a few emails and shared documents.

When will we start?

We would like to initiate the planning process sooner than later, however, we understand that the upcoming holiday season is a busy time. For now, we just need to hear that you can participate.

Why plan so early?

Obtaining vender quotes, negotiating a contract, and review pricing of mandated pool safety/health amenities can take time. There are also additional considerations as we continue to assess the the option of being an exempt status pool. Overall, there are still many unforeseeable factors and having a plan in place will allow us to move quickly to address any issues.
